The brewery’s IPA will front a new look and name in honour of Canada’s participation in the 10-stop HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, and 5-stop HSBC Women’s World Rugby Sevens Series.
Sevens IPA will be available in three formats with 650ml bombers featuring a photograph of Vancouver’s most famous city vista from the top of the Cypress Mountain.
The beer will also be available on tap at more than 30 pubs and bars throughout the Lower Mainland, including Library Square and Brock House.
The brewery has also been commissioned for a run of 20,000 Sevens IPA 335ml cans in a “distinctive” Canadian red and sold directly inside Vancouver’s BC Place for the men’s tournament March 12-13, and also at Westhills Stadium for the women’s tournament in Langford April 16-17.
Managing Director Nate Rayment said: “It’s a huge honour for Postmark Brewing and for craft beer in B.C.
“For a craft brewer to be considered as a partner for such a prestigious international sports event shows that HSBC Canada Sevens organizers have tremendous foresight and genuine interest in our quality product.”
