Big Rig Brewery has struck an agreement with Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group to become the official craft beer partner of TD Place.

The brewery’s Gold Lagered Ale will be available at eight locations throughout the stadium, which is home to the Ottawa Redblacks, Ottawa 67S and Ottawa Fury FC.

“We couldn’t be more excited to become the official craft beer partner at TD Place,” said Lon Ladell, Big Rig Brewery’s co-owner and brewmaster.

They added: “OSEG have created an electrifying atmosphere in Ottawa since revitalizing Lansdowne Park and we’re honoured—especially during Canada’s 150th—to enter this new relationship with them.”

The 5% beer is described by the brewery as “crafted with specialty ale yeast, but carefully fermented like a lager, it has a smooth body and crisp finish.

“This beer is complex enough to contemplate, but easy drinking enough to simply enjoy with friends after a game of pond hockey or at the end of a dock on a hot summer’s afternoon.”
