Stanley Park Brewing in Vancouver has joined up with eco-clothing and apparel manufacturer TenTree to help replant Elephant Hill, BC, which was the scene of a massive forest fire last year.
In honour of this, Stanley Park has released Reforest Hazy IPA (6.2% ABV), described by Stanley as having “maximum tropical and citrus flavour and aroma, without much bitterness.”
For each 4-pack of Reforest cans sold, TenTree and Stanley Park will plant 10 trees in Elephant Hill. If a drinker wants to track the trees planted in recognition of their purchase, each pack has a QR code that can be scanned for this information.
TenTree’s name comes from the company’s policy of planting 10 trees for every item purchased. It’s goal is to plant over a billion trees around the world by 2030.
