A different take on Dry January

Powell River’s Townsite Brewery has re-released Yogn 82 Belgian Triple, coming to you at a strong 9% ABV.

In a story first picked up by Canadian Beer News, the brewery says: “This beer is a citrus gem with a nice thick head on top and a beautiful floral hop nose from the Stryian Golding hops added. With less boozy aroma than our Charleston triple, this beer should be handled with care as you won’t see the 9.0% coming until it’s too late!”

This is the second beer of the series is dedicated to Yogn 82, a concrete vessel left over from World War II, which makes up part of Powell River’s floating breakwater, along with nine other vessels.
