Toronto’s Steam Whistle is donating 350 litres of its beer – equal to almost 43 cases of 24 bottles – that Spirit of York is distilling into hand sanitizer. The finished product is available for purchase at Spirit of York, with all proceeds being donated to local food, says the distillery.

It’s times like these where it is so crucial to come together with your neighbours and help each other out. It’s amazing to know that the folks at Spirit of York can distil our beer to a higher percentage of alcohol so it can be utilized into a product that is much needed by our community right now.
