It was a Canada Day celebration for Ontario’s newest farm-based brewery, Red Barn Brewing, opening its doors in Blenheim, Ontario’s Chatham-Kent region.
Inspired by their family’s legacy and history from living on the farm, in 2014, Denny Vervaet and Dan English started making their own craft beer. The farm sits on 100 acres of 3rd generation farmland and will offer a wide array of staple and seasonal beers to the public..
Approved by the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario, the retail store is a temporary set up allowing a takeout-style store to be set up in the brew room. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, remaining sections of the building are not open to the public. There will be a limited number of people allowed in at a time and customers are encouraged to practice social distancing while catching a peek at the brewhouse.
