Leamington, Ontario’s Newest Craft Brewery

One of Ontario’s newest craft breweries, Cured Craft Brewing , opened its doors in Leamington, a region of Windsor-Essex.

Owners Scott and Lisa Bradt also own Bradt’s Butcher Block, located directly across the street, making for a perfect pairing of cured meats and home brews.  Built in 1911, the building has a historic background-built by William T. Gregory, who introduced the process of flue-curing tobacco from North Carolina to local tobacco farmers.

Last month, the brewery opened its retail shop offering a selection of beers available in cans including Colonel G’s Cream Ale (5.3% abv), 42nd Parallel Lager (4.3% abv) and S.O.S. Southern Ontario Stout (5% abv).  Patrons will be able to enjoy the taproom that will serve draught beer and food, once restrictions of COVID-19 begin to loosen and online beer sales will also be offered via the brewery’s website.

Currently, customers can purchase their favourite brews via the retail store Thursday through Sunday.
