Nestle Japan has released the KitKat Snax pack, the first treats for the brand that have been specifically designed to pair well with beer.  These bite-size snacks combine the perfect combination of sweet and salty with their salted roasted almonds and dried cheese-flavoured soybeans mixed with chocolate cubes.

KitKat collaborated with the Japanese craft brewery DD4D Brewing creating a Chocolate Almond Milk Stout – Inspired by KitKat – mimicking the sweet and nutty flavor that can be found in the Snax pack. The brew is made with cacao powder (which is also used as an ingredient in KITKAT) and has notes of chocolate and almond flavors.  This chocolate ale is less carbonated, which makes it easy to feel the taste of all the ingredients.
