Kilter Brewing Opens its Doors in Manitoba

Manitoba-based brewery, Kilter Brewing has finally settled into a home and announced the official opening of its taproom in Saint-Boniface.  This location is in a prime setting of the historic Franco-Manitoban neighbourhood.

Launched  in 2018 by brothers Miguel, Julien, and Jerik Cloutier, their brewing ideas started on a pilot system at One Great City Brewing while they prepared to move into a space in the city’s West end. This spot was found at the tail end of last year with the first beers released in May for delivery and pick-up orders with COVID-19 restrictions in place.  The taproom officially opened its doors last weekend in July and is now open for walk-ins, keeping social distancing and safe practices in place.

A selection of Kilter beers are available at the bar, and in cans to go, featuring some of their signature collections such as the Cool Beans Cold Brew Coffee Stout-a collaborative Cold Brew Coffee Stout (6%) with freshly roasted coffee beans from the cool beans at Dogwood Coffee in Winnipeg’s Exchange District, Miklii Way Oat Cream IPA- super hoppy, creamy, and juicy Oat Cream IPA (8%) brewed with loads of flaked oats, milk sugar, and double dry-hopped with Citra & Galaxy and Slurpii Raspberry & Lime Slushee Sour-a tart & fruity Slushy Sour Ale (6%) with a fresh blast of raspberry, key lime, and a touch of vanilla.
