Two Pillars Brewery has settled into the Crescent Heights neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta. Founders Boaz Leung and Jacob May both immigrated to Canada from different cultures coming together through the universal language of good food and good drink giving them common ground to build relationships on their love of beer launching the friendship and brand of Two Pillars.
The Two Pillars Taproom will house Canada’s smallest commercial brewhouse (two kegs per brew) allowing the brew master to constantly innovate using the best possible ingredients allowing him to execute a truly unique and exclusive beers throughout the year.
Leung and May’s first beer was created from their introduction to the world of yeast-forward beers. The Golden Strong was brewed using an ancient yeast strain cultivated in the Ardennes region of Belgium, giving it a modern take on a classic style. A powerful ripe fruit aroma with peppery undertones complemented by the earthy, slightly citrus flavors of Magnum and Saaz hops will both refresh the palate and warm the soul. Since then, they boys have added a Witbier and Blonde ale to their menu.
