Family-owned and operated nano brewery, Topside Brewing, has launched in the town of Bedford, Nova Scotia. Founded by Blair and Erin Tobin, the brewery opened its doors earlier this month opening with its On the Bottom East Coast IPA (6% abv) named after the diving term when a diver communicates topside with the crew on the surface and when they reach the bottom of their dive. The beer is a hazy East Coast style IPA. Other brews available are the 5 Bells Session IPA (4.6% abv), Joyce’s Boy Hefeweizen (5% abv), Rollin’ The Dice Hybrid IPA (5.6% abv).

In addition to being available on tap at local bars and restaurants, beginning this Thursday September 24th, growlers can be ordered for home delivery (if ordered by noon, customers receive same day delivery.)
