Carlsberg is Expanding its Range of Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Danish multinational brewer, Carlsberg, has announced its expansion range of non-alcoholic drinks and flavoured alcoholic sparkling waters, adapting to consumers’ health-conscious decisions during the pandemic.

Carlsberg – like most other brewers – were hit hard early on into the pandemic, but their rebound allowed them to become the first global brewer to reinstate its financial guidance. Carlsberg has estimated a full-year operating profit to fall by a high single-digit percentage, which falls with the 8.9 per cent drop in the first half of this year, instead of the 10-15 percent as originally expected. 

Carlsberg has expressed their anticipation that the increase of the alcohol-free category is set to grow five times faster than beer in the next five years.
