In comparison to the rest of the world shifting through ups and downs when it comes to beer and spirits during the global pandemic, Anheuser-Bush’s Japan division (the parent company of Budweiser Beer) has experienced an incredible surplus of beer and thus decided to join forces with Tokyo-based distiller Ethical Spirit to put the surplus to good use.

Ethical Spirit recycled 80,000 beers to garner a flavor-forward gin that’s enhanced with notes of juniper, lemon peels, cinnamon, berries, beechwood chips, and hops. The full flavor profile is light and refreshing and pairs well with traditional gin-infused cocktails.
