With the new year underway and most businesses trying to work out a game plan for 2021 after experiencing a challenging year, some brewers are seeing closures and For Sale signs in their future. It was a short two months ago that Central City Brewers closed the doors of its Red Racer Taphouse in Vancouver, and now they have put their original brewpub location on the market as well.

Central City Taphouse is an 8500-square-foot facility located in Surrey, BC, selling for $98,000CAD, with a monthly lease of $35,500 per month until April, 2023.

The sale includes two liquor licenses and the recently renovated kitchen. However, Central City Brewing will not be selling the company name, as they will continue to use it for the brewing and distillery facility they opened in 2013.
