Kelowna Unleashes Liquor License for Dog Themed Brewery

This week, Kelowna’s city council unanimously supported a liquor license for Unleashed Brewing Company. The new brewery owners plan to construct a 99 seat indoor facility along with a 30 person outdoor patio.

Once the construction is completed, the brewery will allow patrons to bring in their family and furry friends by including dog-friendly and family-friendly spaces as part of the layout.

“We are excited to join the neighbourhood and be amongst some amazing craft breweries,” said Ashton with Unleashed Brewing.

“We certainly aim to keep our space family friendly which of course includes bringing along those K9 buddies as we wish to be as dog friendly as possible. It is our goal to develop a space that is comfortable for everyone. Even if you don’t plan to bring your dog along, we’ve got a seat for you,” said Ashton.

With council supporting the liquor license, the recommendation will now be forwarded to the Provincial Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch for final approval.
