Brew Ninja Closes $650,000 Seed Round

-[PRESS RELEASE]-

Regina-based tech company, Brew Ninja, a B2B SaaS microbrewery management company, announced last week the closing of a CAD $650,000 seed round, exceeding its initial goal to raise $500,000.

Founder Shea Martin realized there was a gap between breweries and available software. Since this kind of technology is expensive and very time consuming, Martin launched the Regina-based software service in 2019. The program streamlines and creates efficiencies in the day-to-day operations within the brewery industry.

“Brew Ninja was created to help breweries manage all of their day-to-day operations in one spot including tracking inventory, invoicing, sales tracking, costing and reporting, as well as track all the data required for compliance with regional and federal regulations.” said Martin. “Having a structured production and sales process creates efficiencies and compliance for breweries. The software saves a brewer on average 40 hours a month, allowing them to focus more time on what they do best – make great beer.”

Since their launch, Brew Ninja has expanded across three different countries and serves breweries as small as 500hL/year to over 20,000hL/year of production. Canada’s National Research Council (NRC) IRAP Program has funded and continues to support Brew Ninja which will help to further expand its software, grow its team, and accelerate its growth into global markets.

“Our investors represent a great network that we will be able to leverage as we grow and scale Brew Ninja to the next level,” said Martin. “We have a lot of new and exciting developments coming, and we look forward to further growing the craft beer industry.”
