Woodstock Brewing’s Emotional Support Beer

Emotional support animals are said to help aid people with anxiety. However, back in 2019, Floyd Hayes registered his favorite IPA as an “Emotional Support Beer”.

This year, Hayes created a real emotional support beer by collaborating with New York’s Woodstock Brewing. Although the beer doesn’t come with any special privileges, it does play an important role to help support Operation at Ease, a non-profit that matches dogs from shelters with veterans and first responders to help them deal with post-traumatic stress. This emotional support beer brings to light issues that surround animal support shelters and mental health issues.

The beer is in the form of an unfiltered IPA with Citra hops. “Expect a nice juicy smack of citrus, passion fruit, and mango. It’s subtle though, which is just how I like it,” said Hayes.
