Toronto Brewery Locked Out Due to Not Paying Rent

Toronto-based brew pub, Duggan’s Brewery was locked out of their establishment earlier this month along with a notice of termination of tenancy.

“The landlord hereby terminates and forfeits the above noted lease by reasons of breaches of covenants in your lease, or non-payment of rent under the said lease,” reads the notice.

The popular spot was known for their musical events and assortment of beers, including their flagship IPA. Mike Duggan is the co-creator of Mill Street Brewery and contributes to breweries like the Flying Monkeys.

While the current location of Duggan’s Brewery remains closed, several locations across the city of Toronto would be happy to welcome them to the neighbourhood.
