New Adventures for Nickel Brook Brewing Co.

Nickel Brook Brewing Co in Burlington, ON, announced last week that it had closed the deal on a new production facility and tap room in Toronto, Ontario. The brewery will continue to operate out of its current Burlington location for the next year but has plans to move to a different location next summer.

“We’ve always had a bit of a struggle with presence east of Burlington, so we wanted to find a location closer to Toronto,” said John Romano, Nickel Brook co-founder. “The Etobicoke brewery has been on our radar for some time now and with a growing portfolio we knew now was the time. Although we are a regional craft brewery, the community of Burlington has become our family, and we would never leave our family,” said Romano.

As the company continues to grow since its inception in 2005, an increase in product offerings and a brand facelift are set to roll out this summer.

“Prior to COVID-19, we had an aggressive growth plan for 2020/2021. Although COVID-19 set us back slightly, we haven’t taken our foot off the pedal. With the boom in our E-commerce and door drop delivery, three new SKUs in the LCBO [Tongue Tied and Raspberry and Blackberry Jam Stand], No Bad Daze Lager launching exclusively at Ontario Grocery and a Brand Refresh, we knew our Burlington facility couldn’t keep up,” said Romano.
