Canadians Dominated the Style Categories at the World Beer Awards 2021

The World Drinks Awards are the global awards selecting the very best in all internationally recognized styles of drinks. Presented by TheDrinksReport.com, the World Drinks Awards select, reward and promote the world’s best drinks to consumers and trade across the globe.

Announced last week were the 2021 World Beer Awards winners and the Canadian breweries (for the first time in the history of the competition) took home the highest number of World’s Best awards.

Out of a total of 96 styles spread over 10 categories, Canada won 17 World’s Best awards.

      • World’s Best IPA Specialty – Lagabière Ta Plus Meilleure
      • World’s Best No & Low Alcohol Sour & Wild – Microbrasserie Le Bockale Aurora
      • World’s Best Pale Cream Ale – Mt Begbie Brewing Begbie Cream Ale
      • World’s Best Hazy Pale Ale – Stanley Park Brewing Waypoint Hazy Pale Ale
      • World’s Best Strong Wheat Beer – Unibroue Don de Dieu
