Corona Launches “Sunbrew 0.0” Non-Alcoholic Beer with Vitamin D

AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer, is at it again and this time, they’re adding a little Vitamin D to the mix. The company has just launched a new, non-alcoholic version of Corona that is infused with Vitamin D. Corona Sunbrew 0.0% will contain “30% of the daily value of vitamin D per 330 mL serving in Canada.”

AB InBev will be launching this product in Canada first, hoping to grip customers who are suffering from vitamin D as the country gets hit with hard winter months. Later in 2022, Sunbrew 0.0% will expand into the U.K., followed by “key markets across the rest of Europe, South America and Asia.” With no specific mention of a U.S. release, it will likely be sooner rather than later.

AB InBev will be looking to take advantage of multiple trends via Sunbrew 0.0%—first the continuing growth and excitement around the non-alcoholic beer category, which IWSR projects will grow by 31% in the next two years, and secondly the “better for you” imaging of no-and-low alcohol products with added vitamins or minerals. The drink is described as a Corona Extra that has had its alcohol extracted, before being blended with vitamin D and natural flavours
