The all-you-can-enjoy, food-and-drink feast Brewery & The Beast heads to Vancouver on Aug. 7; to Calgary on Aug. 21; and to Victoria on Sept. 25.
“We have so much to celebrate this year,” said Scott Gurney, Director of the 17 Black Events team that produces the festival. “To be at full capacity, showcasing the best of local food and drink, while listening to live music, is such a thrill. It’s still early and we’ve already got a stellar lineup of restaurants, food and drink purveyors, and local farms on board. We are also excited to announce that Brewery & the Beast will be expanding our beer offerings; guests can expect new breweries in each city pouring their suds to pair with the meat-fired goodness.”
Brewery & The Beast brings a sizzling spread of dishes and preparations, from barbecue and smoked to grilled and slow-cooked, alongside chilled beer, wine, cider and spirits. While they feast, ticket-holders will be treated to live entertainment from award-winning local musicians, with The Electric Timber Company headlining the stage. It does it all while shining a spotlight on ethical, sustainable and natural farming practices, and showcasing talented chefs, renowned restaurants and the very best of B.C.’s food and beverage scene.
Partial proceeds from 2022 ticket sales will be donated to the Chefs’ Table Society of BC, the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and local programs that support food sustainability. Since its inception, Brewery & The Beast has donated more than $143,000 to organizations such as these that work to grow the Canadian culinary industry and support local food-focused initiatives.
Major sponsors of this year’s Brewery & The Beast include Two Rivers Specialty Meats, Left Field Cider, YETI coolers, Tito’s Vodka, Oliver Osoyoos Wine Association, Canadian Linen, Ardbeg Whiskey, among others.
