Earlier this month, Edmonton’s Blind Enthusiasm Brewing launched The Monolith taproom. But what makes this taproom really unique is the fact that the brewery has taken an old method and has revamped it into a new, natural approach to their fermentation process. The brewery already holds claim to its unique brewing creations, known for its standout brewpub Biera, and now adding The Monolith taproom to its list.
The brewery is located in the city’s Ritchie neighbourhood but you might miss it as it is located on a street where you would not expect a brewery to be. Its exterior is concrete, yet much of it is stamped into with Blind Enthusiasm’s distinctive eye logo. The inside is quite unique with its blue-grey tiled walls, rust-coloured wooden men, ornate framed artwork and a huge circular lighting fixture above.
