On Saturday, May 13, the Discovery Centre on the Halifax waterfront presents SCIENCE OF BEER.

The Fine Tuners will provide some excellent Celtic music while visitors learn about the science behind a good brew, meet masters in the Nova Scotia craft brewing community, and tempt their taste buds with samples.  Learn how science helps breweries “raise the bar” with time-tested methods and cutting-edge innovations.

Tickets include a souvenir tasting glass and sample tickets to be redeemed at individual brewery booths.  Additional sample tickets will be available for purchase on-site.  Cash, debit and credit card payments will be accepted.  Products from the breweries will be available for purchase on-site to take home, but cannot be opened on-site.
