Breweries in Penticton Get Together to ‘Do Good’

The fifth annual Penticton Beer Week will take place from October 13 to October 22 and will feature 10 days of fun events.  Such occasions like the legendary Penticton Beer Run.  The “BrewHaHa” at the Lakeside Resort, which was themed around Oktoberfest. And the “Brewers’ Showdown” between two kegs.

Nevertheless, each new Beer Week also brings a brand-new beer — a special collaboration brew called “Do Good” that changes every year, is created jointly by all eight local breweries, and benefits a deserving local cause. All of the events are intended to celebrate the extremely popular Penticton craft brewery industry.

Cannery Brewing produced the Do Good beer the previous year. This year, it is being produced by Yellow Dog Brewery, a new establishment that will soon be occupying the former Bad Tattoo location at 169 Estabrook. And early this month, the representatives from all the brewers gathered to start the procedure.
