The Immigrant-Owned craft brewery welcomes the community to join the celebration on November 18th at 12:00pm.
Goldenfield Brewery is the inspiration of two brothers, Mahdi and Jay, and their friend Ethan, who combined their experience in hospitality and manufacturing with their Persian roots to bring an exotic flare to Toronto’s craft beer scene. “We’ve been working a long time to get our space and beer ready to share with the community, and we’re finally ready to open our doors.” says co-founder and Managing Director Ethan Chiti. “We want to create an atmosphere that celebrates the diversity of Toronto where everyone feels welcome and comfortable – our beer menu focuses on classic craft beer styles with balanced flavour and toned-down bitterness for people who might be newcomers to craft beer. We’ll also have unique brews like our Persian Pilsner and Baltic Porter to keep things interesting.”
The grand opening celebration will feature all-day five-dollar pints and catering by food pop-up ‘Smokin’ Italian BBQ’ headed by veteran catering duo Dave and Kay, serving up a custom menu to warm guests’ hearts just in time for the cold season.
Located at 71 Sunrise Avenue in the Bermondsey neighbourhood of East York, Goldenfield Brewery is a production brewery with an attached retail store, tasting room and event space. Their current line-up of beers includes Pilsner, Witbier, Blonde Ale, IPA, Double IPA, Amber Ale, and the newly released Baltic Porter. All their beers are available on tap in the tasting room and for takeout at their on-site retail store.
