Koch stated, “We’re lending to mom and pop, three-person businesses that banks don’t even want to look at,” emphasizing how he is watching out for the smaller companies.

These loans are made available through the Accion Opportunity Fund, which provides loans to companies looking to expand, including craft brewers, in order to help them obtain capital, assistance, and mentoring.
