The B.C. Beer Awards announced winners over the weekend at a tasting event in New Westminster, recognizing breweries in 30 different beer-style categories. Judges evaluated 1,010 entries from 140 breweries over several days before the awards. 

Twin City Brewing Company won Brewery of The Year, and the team also won two first-place trophies, two second-place trophies, and a third.  Meanwhile, Coolship Lambic from Strange Fellows Brewing was named Best in Show.
