A Brewery Collective is Coming to East Vancouver

Vancouver-based brewery collective, Threefold is renovating a former Andina Brewing space at 1507 Powell St to house three long-time and respected Vancouver beer companies.

The three brands, Slow Hand Beer Company, Temporal Artisan Ales, and Boombox Brewing, are all craft-oriented and have been together since the mid-2010s.

One of the owners, Matt Kump, believes that uniting these breweries gives them a chance to grow and share space, resources, skill sets, expertise, and a taproom. The shared brewing space will feature beers under each brewery’s name, and the brewers will continue to produce their own recipes.

The taproom will feature beers under each brewery’s name, allowing them to produce what they want and how they want, which will be on tap and available for sale. The opportunity to unite these breweries was a result of their long-standing relationship and shared vision for the city’s craft beer scene.
