
Maritime Provinces Aim to Remove Alcohol-Related Trade Barriers

As New Brunswick works to remove interprovincial alcohol trade obstacles, craft breweries in Nova Scotia want to sell their goods in neighbouring provinces.
Customers would be able to purchase alcohol directly from provinces and territories with comparable regulations under proposed modifications to New Brunswick’s Liquor Control Act. Additionally, the government wants to do away with the personal exemption restrictions on alcohol for visitors to the province.
