‘One Pint at a Time’, a film about minorities in the craft-brewery industry, will be screened this weekend at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival.

One Pint at a Time is a film on how minority-owned brewers are reshaping the craft-brewing industry. The screening will take place at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Chagrin Falls as well as via a virtual screening starting midnight on Sunday, Oct. 9.
The 2021 film is one hour, 29 minutes long and is directed by Aaron Hosé.
Less than 2 percent of brewmaster-brewery owners are African American in the multi-billion-dollar industry, organizers said. The film lays out the origins of beer from its roots in Egyptian and African cultures to its current state. This movie outlines how Black brewers across the country are trying to reshape the industry.
