It’s always thrilling to see new food and beverage businesses opening in Saskatchewan, and City Limits Brewing is the most recent microbrewery to do so.
This new brewery was under construction in January and debuted in late May 2023. It is affiliated with and controlled by Stumbletown Distilling.
Four beers make up its inaugural beer lineup: a light beer, an IPA, another England IPA, and a raspberry lime sour. Many other seasonal brews are on the way. All of these beers are available at the brewery, but Saskatoon residents should soon be able to find the cans at several neighbourhood liquor stores as well.
This weekend’s formal opening celebration for City Limits Brewing will follow in the footsteps of owner Craig Holland, who has a history of incorporating regional producers and artists into his Stumbletown Distilling location.
“On July 8th we’re pulling out all of the stops and having a party to celebrate the birth of Saskatoon’s newest brewery,” says Holland in the event’s announcement on social media. “Bring your kids! Bring your dog! Bring your wallet! The tunes and the good times are free but you have to pay for the beer!”
