Cider exec gives tips

Curbside pickups, e-commerce and drive-through services are helping cider manufacturers survive, with some actually having best-day-ever sales, according to Michelle McGrath, American Cider Association executive director, in a video interview with Brewbound reporter Jessica Infante.   

All the tips that McGrath offers can be duplicated by beer breweries.

Hudsonville, Michigan-based Farmhaus Cider hosted a drive-thru pop-up event, which led to the company’s best-ever sales day, McGrath said.

“They were able to cover payroll for the month with one stock-up drive-thru market.”
