Sheetz – an American chain of convenience stores and coffee shops – recently launched Project Happy Hole-iday: a brand-new ale in the form of a festive holiday beer brewed with donut holes. The project is produced in collaboration with North Carolina’s Wicked Weed Brewing made using one pound per barrel of Sheetz’s Shweetz Glazed Vanilla Donut Holes.

The “donut-ale” can be described as having notes of freshly baked donuts, vanilla frosting, graham crackers, honey, and malted barley. Just in time for the holiday season, the limited-edition holiday beer will be available across select states to help people celebrate this time of year at a time when things have been challenging.
