Queen Elizabeth the II’s Sandringham Estate has developed an exclusive range of beer which includes an Indian pale ale and a Norfolk Brewed Best bitter.
The barley used in the brew is organic and home-grown on the grounds of the Queen’s retreat in eastern England and is also available to buy from the Sandringham Shop.
This is not the first time the Queen has dabbled in the spirit world — Buckingham Palace already sells its own gins, wines, whiskeys and even champagne.
Situated at the heart of the 20,000-acre rural estate, the Sandringham Estate has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862, and is one of two private residences used by the Queen.
Income from the Estate is one of a number of revenue sources for the Queen and whose net worth in 2018 was estimated to be as much as £360 million ($500 million).
