With the 2021 Stanley Cup® Playoffs well underway, one Canadian team is holding down the fort and hockey fans are cheering them on. Molson Canadian has taken a step towards allowing fans to taste what winning a Stanley Cup could feel like by brewing their special limited-edition batch which has been kissed by the Stanley Cup.

Accompanied by Phil Pritchard, the Hockey Hall of Fame’s curator and official Keeper of the Cup, Molson Canadian welcomed the Stanley Cup® into the Molson Brewery. Following strict sanitization protocols, Molson Canadian from this limited batch was passed through the top bowl of the Cup during the brewing process so that this Playoffs season, Canadians can have a small taste from Lord Stanley’s Cup™.

“In a Playoff run unlike any before, with the North Division having showcased Canadian hockey excellence in all its glory over the past several months, we wanted to create something unforgettable for Canadian hockey fans,” says Joy Ghosh, Senior Brand Director for the Molson family of brands. “Drinking from the Cup is a special moment for players. The limited-edition Molson Canadian Stanley Cup® Batch is available in specially designed 6-pack bottles reminiscent of the Stanley Cup® and its flight case at select local beer and liquor stores across Canada, excluding Quebec, while supplies last.
